We hope everyone is having a wonderful first week of summer!

We are thrilled to let y'all know that we have now passed the $7000.00 mark in our efforts to raise money for Tornado Relief!

WOOHOO!! HAPPY DANCE!

We cannot believe how amazing you all are! 

Well we are not done yet! Days 26 and forward are STILL LIVE! 

Please note that we made an adjustment to the bidding cycle after Day 25. We decided to extend all auctions that are still live a few more days than 5...they are now live for 8 DAYS (from their posting date)!

So Day 26 auctions will be closing tomorrow, June 23! 

So if you were watching those auctions and thought you had lost out...no worry they are still there to grab!

COUNTDOWN BEGINS: Less than 17 HRs until Bidding Begins!!

Tomorrow bidding begins...yep tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. CST the first item will be posted. From 10 a.m.CST to 2 p.m. CST bidding will open on some amazing prizes and you can contribute to Disaster Relief for one special rural community in Alabama.


So in preparation we just wanted to post a few details about the bidding process:


Each item will be open for 5 days from the starting time posted.

Once the time has expired comments close and bidding will be over. Closing warnings will be placed in the comments section.

All winners MUST email all4alabamarelief(at)yahoo(dot)com within 24 hours of bid closing.

Payment is due within 72 hours of the close of the individual auction.PLEASE do not forget to put your email with your bid.


If for some unknown reason you do not claim your item within 24 hours of the auction close, the next to last commenter will become the new winner - so please don't forget to check your items!


Whew!! We can barely contain our excitement! For the next 17 hours we hope that you will spread the word and anxiously await the start. Please feel free to post our buttons on your blog/website! The more who know the more we help those in need!!

Spreading the Word!

We are getting the word out! It is such a wonderful thing to know that people care for one another.

Our radio stations rarely play music these days because they act as a call center and hotline. People STILL unable to get food and water are having anyone with a cell phone call these stations so that their community/neighborhood/town can get on the map again. So that someone will add their names and those of their loved ones to their prayer list. They don't care who you are praying to, just please pray for them.

I listened with tears streaming down my face as Erica stood on a hill so that she could get signal in order to call our local station JUST to get the people around her on a prayer list. Five months pregnant and she has been living in a tent with her husband since the storm. He gets up every day and walks down the road to help those who are sifting through what is left. She bides her time by helping some other families also living in tents around them. There are dogs who would not leave the side of their loved one even after that loved one no longer breathes the same air. One dog sat sadly on the rubble that was his home and watched as his beloved owner was taken away. These are real people, real stories - they need our help...

Just last night I met with the amazing Crystal Harris at Barnes & Noble in Hoover, Alabama. I was beyond excited and ever so touched by her enthusiasm to help in every way possible. Together with all the amazing people who contribute, donate, bid, communicate - I am confident that this will be a great success!!

We are contacting so many people but there is still a great need for items/services/critiques. SO SPREAD THE WORD about the upcoming ALL 4 ALABAMA Disaster Relief Auction!!

Oh by the way HELP WRITE NOW is also hosting an auction that is already live! Go bid - spread the love for these devastated communities!
