Day 8 Item 3: Freefall + notes

The lovely Mindi Scott has donated a personalized copy of her debut novel Freefall PLUS will include handwritten notes!

 From Mindi:

"This is for the reader who wants the full scoop about my debut novel, Freefall. I’ll sign and personalize a copy just for you. I’ll also include little handwritten notes on the pages to clue you in about the inspiration for scenes, the seemingly-innocent lines that are inside jokes in my real life, things that changed during editorial revisions, anything that I would write differently now, all of my favorite characters, scenes, and lines, and anything and everything else I can think of to reveal to you!"

Day 8 Item 2: Critique and Beta

My good friend Becca Scott has offered a critique of up to 10k words. Becca is fantastic at what she does and Beta's for Michelle Hodkin, Kerry Freeman and others.

From Becca:
I will critique and beta your choice of 3 chapters (Up to 10K words) of your novel/ short story or of your query letter and first two chapters (Up to 10K words) you are sending to potential agents/publishers. No genre limitations.

Day 8 Item 1: Firelight by Sophie Jordan

New York Times best selling author, Sophie Jordan has been kind enough to donate a signed copy of Firelight.

Please note: This auction will not be available internationally.

About Sophie:
Sophie Jordan grew up in the Texas hill country where she wove fantasies of dragons, warriors, and princesses. A former high school English teacher, she's also the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of Avon historical romances. She now lives in Houston with her family. When she's not writing, she spends her time overloading on caffeine (lattes and Diet cherry Coke preferred), talking plotlines with anyone who will listen (including her kids), and cramming her DVR with true-crime and reality-TV shows. Sophie also writes paranormal romances under the name Sharie Kohler.
